Here are some answers to the most frequently asked questions:
Q: Will the event be held if it rains?
A: Yes. You can bring along umbrellas, canopies and shelters to set up on the field in the event of rain.
Q: Where can I park?
A: There is ample free parking in the lot behind the Registry of Deeds, which is located on Ames Street directly across from the DCH field. Click here for a map.
Q: Is there an admission fee to the event?
A: No, the event is FREE and open to the community.
Q: Is the event appropriate for children?
A: Absolutely! It is a fun-filled cultural event for all ages with games and activities for the kids and a variety of music genres that are sure to please the ear of music fans of every age!
Q: Will there be food sold at the event?
A: Yes, b.good will cooking on site providing burgers and sandwiches. Mocha Java will provide iced coffee. There will be an ice cream truck as well as our own concession table at the event selling selling pizza from Dedham House of Pizza as well as snacks and beverages. You are also welcome to pack a cooler with your own refreshments.
Q: Do we need to bring our own chairs?
A: Yes. No chairs will be provided for attendees. We encourage you to bring blankets and lawn chairs and make yourself comfortable!
Q: Are there restrooms available for public use?
Yes. There are two restrooms in the Dedham Community House gym (behind the DCH). There will also be portable toilets next to the gym.
